STAUFF UK held a virtual breakfast morning with Made in Yorkshire to tell members more about the business, share best practice and network with fellow members. The event kicked off at 9 am with an introduction from the Made in Group, followed by a presentation from STAUFF’s Darren Allsop and introductions from members.
STAUFF UK is a Sheffield based manufacturer with vast experience in the hydraulic industry, having serviced it since 1977. STAUFF’s team of experts offer friendly service and a flexible approach living up to individual expectations and guaranteeing a high level of customer satisfaction.
The firm is perfectly placed to offer quality products to all industries requiring the efficient distribution of fluid power. On top of that, their products are manufactured to withstand the most arduous conditions where pressure can cause catastrophic failures.
The event began with an introduction from CEO of The Made in Group Jason Pitt who spoke to members about new features soon to be introduced to the Group. Jason mentioned the new breakfast boxes that will be sent to members who attend virtual events as of 30th Septemeber and the soon to be “Made Futures” festival for members looking for employees with different skill sets, aimed at careers graduates.
Darren Allsop, Head of Sales at STAUFF UK, chaired the presentation giving more information about the company and their capabilities. STAUFF UK is part of the parent company L.U.K.A.D originating in Germany, Global turnover is 531m Euros, with STAUFF being responsible for 236m Euros.
Darren then went on to explain the products and services that the company provide which included pipework equipment, filtration technology and hydraulic components for mobile and industrial fluid power applications. The core products from the company are Tube Couplings, Pipe Clamps, Test Points, SAE Flanges, Filteration Technology, Hydraulic Accessories and Diagtronics.
Alongside STAUFF UK based in Sheffield, the company also has regional branches in Aberdeen, Belfast and Southampton all dealing with different industries. The head office in Sheffield is responsible for £33M in sales and 180 employees. As a global company, Darren mentioned that when they are tendering for business with large companies they can offer a global solution.
Finishing off the event members were then given the opportunity to introduce themselves and their companies in a 30-60 pitch. This was followed by smaller networking sessions for 30 minutes.
